May 13th, 2010:  The 2010 racing season is heavily underway as Cody Hood and the crew are still working on getting the new car ready for the battle.  With Cody Hood and the crew's hectic schedules, the team has been unable to complete the work that needs to be done to the car.  The motor is at the machine shop and hopes to get it back soon.  The team hopes to be ready to hit the track in a few weeks.  Check back soon for updates! 

November 1st, 2009:  With the 2009 season coming to an end, Cody Hood and the crew pulled off 6th in points at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, NC with only 5 nights raced at the track.  We look forward to seeing you all at the start of the 2010 racing season! 

September 5th, 2009:  With a limited 2009 racing schedule due to a full-time school schedule, Cody Hood Racing decided to finish his year off at Charleston Speedway in Charleston, Illinois. This would be his first appearance there all year and his first time back behind the wheel since June of 2009. Going out 9th to qualify, the car was not right and had a slight push.  This put him toward the end of the field.  Cody would start 6th in the 3rd heat and would stay there for the finish. With starting 17th on the grid for the feature, Cody and the crew just through a set-up on the car and hoped it worked. Luckily for Cody, it worked.  Cody was able to work his way up to 6^th, trying to make the pass for 5th with about 3 laps to go and something broke going into turn 3 causing him to spin and end the night. The DNF gave him an 11th spot finish.
 
Cody Hood also ran 5 times at Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, NC with 5 top 5s and a heat win.
 
2010 looks to be a busy year for the Cody Hood racing crew as they will be back in full force in the Midwest. Traveling to many different tracks and racing a couple difference series.
